Dell Quay Family Fun Day & Regatta 2021


Dear Members,

that we have been forced to turn the central heating on in JUNE!
I thought I would remind you all that it is Summer (actually midsummers day as I write) and this coming weekend 26th June, is the
Dell Quay SC Regatta & Family fun day at the club.


We will be having an adults & juniors dinghy race series  (Race entry, sign up via the club web page)  PLUS the keel boats from Itchenor Sailing Club will be finishing on the club line.

Shore side

Exhibition of the Victoria Model Yachts class on display.

Educational information from the DQSC environmental initiative including The Green Blue & SAS 250.

Our Sail wear suppliers, Unique workwear will have range of garments on offer, available  in both ranges of Dell Quay branding.

The Chichester Harbour Trust will be there with a display stand also.


The Galley team will be busy preparing a delicious selection of cakes &  sandwiches which will be available for afternoon tea (don’t forget to sign up on the website).

The galley will be open from 11.00am

The activities kick off at 11.00 with the paddle activities, followed by racing from 12.15.

We are currently lobbying the weather gods to provide suitable conditions for this event

The 2021 club photo competition will also be launched on the day, details will be on the club website.  Photo’s of you by You.
The winning picture will be used as the yearbook cover for 2022 & there will also be prizes for runners up.
Some images may also be used on the web site and Quay news & to show others what a fun time can be had at our club.



Please note:
Due to the remaining Covid 19 Restrictions, follow the government guidelines Hands Face Space,  shore staff will be available to help.
The galley will be operating a one way system in the club for accessing the  balcony & pontoon, please follow the signs.
The QR code posters are in place for NHS track & trace for you to scan on your smart phones.
Please observe the no parking of vehicles on the quay rule, strictly loading & unloading only at all times, not just during Regatta.
