IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING

For 2018, the registration process is slightly different. Once published at 2pm on Saturday 27th January, the link from this page will take you to the Stage 1 Registration Form. This is a simple form that captures the number of Juniors being registered. On completion of this form, you will automatically be directed to the Stage 2 Registration Form, which captures all the details needed to allocate places. This second form MUST be submitted to complete the registration process.

Why the change? Last year, for some age groups the difference between getting a place or not could be measured in a matter of minutes. This could equate to the time taken to enter the details for a second or third Junior. Therefore, the submission time for the Stage 1 Registration Form, which should take the same length of time to complete for all, will be used this year for the allocation of places.

Places will generally be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, but there are exceptions. All Juniors are allocated to a group based on age and sailing ability. It is highly likely that one group will fill up earlier than others, meaning that Juniors for the ‘popular’ group may miss out whereas Juniors applying later for other groups will get a place. Also, we generally try to make the same offer to all siblings within a family group. This means that there needs to be available space in all the different age groups for an offer to be made. If you are applying for more than one place and don’t wish for this ‘sibling rule’ to be applie, please put a note in the Comments box on the Stage 2 registration Form.

You can only register Juniors for whom you are the Parent or Grandparent within their club membership, and membership fees for 2018 have been paid.

Please note that Juniors aged 6 and 7 will be Seamonsters and attend from Tues 31st July to Thur 2nd August only. All other Juniors will attend for the full week.

For all Juniors aged 10 or under, either a Parent or Grandparent from within their club membership will need to attend for the whole week (Tues – Thur for Seamonsters).

For all Juniors aged 11 or over, either a Parent or Grandparent from within their club membership will need to attend for 2 days within the week.

Please do not register if you cannot meet the above criteria.
