Dell Quay Sailing Club

Junior Week 2021

Monday 26th July to Friday 30th July

REGISTRATION CLOSED

Please note, Junior Week is only available to juniors who are club members, currently in School Year 3 up to School Year 10. There will be no Seamonster group in 2021.

The registration process will be the same 2 stage process we have successfully used in recent years. Once published on 24 April, the link from this page will take you to the Stage 1 Registration Form, which simply captures the number of juniors to be registered, and the time of registration. On completion of this form, you will automatically be directed to the Stage 2 Registration Form, which captures all the details needed to allocate places. This second form MUST be submitted to complete the registration process.

On completion, you will receive a confirmation e-mail-please check your spam folders if you do not receive this.

Places will generally be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis, but will take the follwing into account:

  • sailing qualifications gained at past Junior Weeks
  • sailing qualifications gained elsewhere
  • sailing ability if no qualifications held
  • recent sailing experience

You will need to provide this information during the registration process, so please have it to hand. We follow the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme during the week, and the Juniors may be awarded an RYA certificate at the end of the week. Therefore it is important to us that we know the Juniors current qualifications, ability and experience when allocating places.

Please do not register if you cannot meet the following criteria:

  • You can only register Juniors for whom you are the Parent or Grandparent within their club membership.
  • For all Juniors aged 10 and under, at least one Parent or Grandparent from within their club membership will need to attend for the whole week.
  • For all juniors aged 11 or over, at least one Parent or Grandparent from within their club membership will need to attend for a minimum of 2 days throughout the week.

The cost for Junior Week this year will be £140 (or £105 if able to provide own dinghy, which must be suitable for the child to sail).

Finally, the number of Juniors we can accept onto Junior Week depends on the number of instructors and safety boats available to us. If you have a RIB or other suitable boat, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
