Dell Quay dinghy cruises are informal. Fun DQSC cruising in company is open to all club members.
For all cruises your boat should be equipped with paddles, anchor, and a tow rope.

New for this year

The dingy Cruisers will use Spond. Please install the App and join the Dingy cruise group by copying this address into your browser: https://group.spond.com/XDFOG
If you dont have a smart phone, you can use the web based version of Spond by clicking this link and creating an account and then joining the group XDFOG as above.

By using the link, users only get visibility of dingy cruising activities - opposed to actually booking themselves onto the activities. Once in the Spond Dingy Cruising group, the app will provide the options “Attend” and “Decline” for all of 2022’s 5 events.
Users will receive further group text chat relating to their particular event if they have marked themselves as attending. This can be useful if the weather is looking tricky ! Or, maybe you are unsure about not having an outboard but look for a buddy/tow assurance from other group members.
Also, good for us to get numbers so we can pre-warn the pubs. Also good for us to collate photos after the event.
Users can “un-attend” at any time through the app.

Detailed information will be released via Spond prior to each event.
The events below are subject to suitable weather. There may be a patrol boat but as a fleet can be spread out and has potentially launched at different times the rib or dory will be accompanying the dinghies only. As with other sailing activities, the decision to go afloat is the dinghy helm’s, or the parent/guardian’s if the helm is a junior, and they remain responsible for their crew.
