Replacement Patrol Boat for Dell Quay Sailing Club

The General & Sailing Committees of Dell Quay Sailing Club, after much research and analysis of its future water activities, are pleased to announce the purchase of a new rib 4.2 patrol boat, to replace one of it ageing Dell Quay Dory boats.

This new rib supplied by JBT Marine Ltd of Portsmouth, will be complete with a Yamaha 40hp engine and will be delivered to Dell Quay Sailing Club in early 2020 in readiness for the first of its RYA Powerboat Training Courses of the new season.

Ben Alcott Commodore of Dell Quay Sailing Club commented:

"We have a truly exciting club programme for 2020 with our best ever mix of water-based events, including racing, and cruising adding to the great club community and atmosphere. Dell Quay SC are committed to providing the best possible safety cover for all of its water activities”.

This new patrol boat will be used to complement the sailing clubs existing patrol and support boat fleet in order to maintain a safe environment for the sailing clubs growing number of new water activities.

Our new rib will need a suitable short name and for radio communications - and appropriate for DQSC please!
