Do you offer training?

We are a certified RYA Powerboat Dinghy Training centre.

We provide a range of training courses throughout the year both on and off the water for both Juniors and Adults, beginner to advanced and including such subjects as RYA First Aid, RYA VHF/DSC, RYA Diesel Maintenance, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper etc.

We also do a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award for the juniors to complete the skills module of Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and get a Powerboat Level 2 certificate. For more details and on-line booking forms, see the calendar.

I am looking for somewhere to keep my Cruiser. Does the club have any Moorings available?

Yes, the club has 21 moorings which are made available exclusively for members use. For more details and to make an enquiry

Is it possible to borrow or hire a club boat?

The club maintains a small fleet of dinghes for use by members, in exchange for a small donation to help with their upkeep.

You have to login to the member section of the web site to book these.

It looks great! Is there a waiting list to join?

Unlike many sailing clubs in the area, we do not operate a formal waiting list for new members and welcome anyone who wishes to join our happy club!

So that we can best help you decide whether Dell Quay is right for you (and your family too if you wish) the first step is to make a general enquiry via the link shown earlier on this page.

Please feel free to drop by - there is usually something going on most weekends. There is bound to be someone who is happy to show you around whilst you get a snack and a drink from our great galley or a very keenly priced drink at our Bar!
