Solo Report - October 2025

• Congratulations to John Purdy for leading the Ward Trophy (Handicap) Fleet home at the end of October in his Solo. Also well done Simon Verrall for coming second to the almost unbeatable Bill and Charlotte Dawber in the winners' race Trophy, the Noyce.
• Simon will be even happier with his victory in the Solo Late Trophy though, having snatched the win on the last day from Mark Gardner in a fantastically close-fought series.
• John also walked way with the Pursuit Race Series in the General Handicap, also in his Solo. Having shed the burdens of the Solo Fleet captaincy has obviously lightened his load and sharpened his speed!
