Model Yachts Prize Giving

The annual Model Yacht prize-giving supper was held on Friday. 32 of our modellers sat down to a delicious three course supper of Smoked Salmon terrine, Tarragon chicken with roasted garlic potatoes and a Lemon Posset all of which were prepared and cooked by Anne, Liz and Sarah. Of course, a big thank you also to our 3 crew Matt, Debbie and Beth.

Our Fleet Leaders Simon and Rob then reflected back over the season before presenting the prizes:

• Dave Few received a special award for the furthest distance rowed whilst chasing his boat up to Fishbourne.
• The Bob Young trophy was jointly awarded this year to Rob Nunn and Peter Matthews although it was agreed that Peter would keep it this year (because he agreed not to hit me for a whole year RN) The trophy is awarded to the overall Series winner
• The Toc H 1935 Antwerp Trophy was presented to Chris Sprules 'For services to the Victoria Class over the last 9 years'
