Spring Cleaning in the Dinghy Park!

Published 15:10 on 23 Feb 2026

If you've been down to the dinghy park recently, you might have noticed the new 2026 navy blue berthing stickers adorning most boats. A huge thank you to our team of volunteers who braved the persistent rain showers to apply them. By stickering the boats personally, these volunteers saved the club roughly £200 in postage costs, which is a terrific result.

While stickering the boats, our team identified dinghies that appear to be in unauthorized berths and are potentially abandoned.

  • What's happening: Weve placed "Abandoned Boat Notices" on these vessels.
  • The Plan: Well be moving these boats to a designated area in the dinghy park extension to free up space and manage their disposal on a boat-by-boat basis.
  • Is it yours? If you recognize one of the boats on the list below, please reach out to the berthing master so your details can be updated.

Note for Quay Berths, Kayakers and Trailer Owners: If your boat is berthed on the South or North Quay, or if you have a kayak or road trailer, your stickers are still coming via the "scenic route" (the post) and should arrive by the end of March.

See you on the water soon!
